Bhanteji’s Biography & Lineage

The Monastic Journey of Bhanteji
Driven by a deep quest for inner peace and the cessation of suffering, Bhanteji entered the monastic life to dedicate himself fully to the Buddha's teachings. Over years of intensive practice, solitary meditation, and study, he has cultivated a profound understanding of the Dhamma, transitioning from a dedicated seeker into a compassionate guide for the community.
Ordination & Teachers
Bhanteji received his formal higher ordination (Upasampada) under the noble guidance of his preceptor, [Name of Ordaining Monk/Preceptor], at [Name of Monastery/Location]. He has spent years training under renowned Dhamma masters and meditation teachers, absorbing the traditional monastic discipline (Vinaya).
Vision for the Buddhayan Meditation Centre
Bhanteji’s vision is to establish the Buddhayan Meditation Centre as a pure spiritual sanctuary—a peaceful refuge where individuals from all walks of life can learn and practice meditation without distraction.
Dana & Donations (Support the Centre)
"Giving brings joy at every stage: before giving, while giving, and after giving." — The Buddha
The Buddhayan Meditation Centre operates entirely on the principle of Dana—the sacred Buddhist tradition of voluntary generosity and mutual support. We do not charge fees for our meditation sessions, cultural programs, or spiritual guidance.
Instead, our center is sustained purely through the heartfelt offerings of devotees and practitioners like you. Your voluntary contributions directly help us to:
Maintain the Vihara Premises: Keeping our meditation hall, gardens, and facilities clean, peaceful, and open to everyone.
Support Bhanteji: Meeting the essential monastic requisites (food, robes, shelter, and medical care) for our spiritual guide so he can focus fully on teaching and practicing the Dhamma.
Extend the Teachings: Allowing us to host future community camps, chanting programs, and cultural events.
Every offering, no matter the size, is a profound act of merit that helps keep the light of the Dhamma shining in our community. We deeply appreciate your kindness and support.
